ANNA WOŹNA
HELLO
I invite you to browse my website
Info
I have worked as an academic teacher at one of the leading Polish universities for over a dozen years. During this time, I met many amazing young people who represented a range of talents. My task was to capture their uniqueness and let it blossom. During my work, I visited several foreign universities and experienced working with students from various cultural backgrounds.
Unfortunately, the conventional way of teaching prevents effective action in this direction. Therefore, I encourage you to work individually on the base of academic tutoring and mentoring methods, which allow you to discover a development path appropriate for a specific person.
About me
I gained my education at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. From the third year of uniform master's studies, I pursued two fields of study: Materials Engineering and Management and Production Engineering (specialization in Quality Management) as part of the Individual Study Program. At the same time, from the fourth year of my studies, I started to work in a production company in the field of Quality Management and later, in a training company specializing in Six Sigma methodology. Obtained professional experience, confirmed my belief that I should try a different path. This resulted in the simultaneous commencement of work and doctoral studies at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. During my doctoral studies, I dealt with interdisciplinary topics on border technology and medicine - I was responsible for developing the material characteristics of bioresorbable composites intended for bone replacements to be used in 3D printing technology. At the same time, I was employed in a number of development projects and started my adventure with... teaching adults. After defending my doctorate, I started deepening my education in the field of academic tutoring and mentoring. In addition, I visited dozens of universities where I had the opportunity to teach students from different cultural backgrounds.

How can I help you?
My experience and competences may be helpful in the areas that we will discuss in detail. Each person is different and will have different needs - below I indicate the directions of possible cooperation.
TUTORING
MENTORING
SCIENTIFIC SUPPORT
"The tutor tries to encourage the student to think independently. Mainly by asking the right questions and having a thought-provoking conversation with him. He has been to Kilimanjaro himself, but he does not say "follow me", but uses his own experience to try to direct him"*
Based on my knowledge and experience, I can guide my mentee in such a way that he or she completes the missing competences in an appropriate environment.
International cooperation
Over the years of academic work, I have managed to establish cooperation with many foreign universities, such as Universite Savoie Mont Blanc (France), LAB Lapperant (Finland), Instituto Politecnico de Setubal (Portugal), Riga Technical University (Latvia), Abo Academy (Finland), United International University (Bangladesh), Parul University (India), Koleji Universum (Kosovo), University of Johannesburg (South Africa), Jigme Namgyel Engineering College (Bhutan), Fraunhofer (Germany) and many more...
Above all...
It is important to remember that life is not only about work and professional achievements. My life is filled with a number of passions that I persistently pursue, despite many adversities. Balance of personal and professional life is the most important guarantee of a long and stable career.
"Mentoring involves meeting someone who has achieved significant success in the area we want to enterexpand. Figuratively speaking - someone who has climbed Rysy meets a conqueror of 7,000-meter peaks who takes him on such an expedition"*
